Since 1876, couples have been coming to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church to begin their lives together as husband and wife. In 2019, couples intending to marry at SMSS are required to contact the Rectory at 860-447-1431 in order inquire about the availability of their preferred date, and to be put in touch with our Pastor. Preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage begins at least ONE YEAR before the actual wedding date.
Documents to bring:
A Baptismal Certificate (for Catholic parties), no older than SIX MONTHS from the time of meeting.

Las parejas han venido a Santa María Estrella del Mar para comenzar sus vidas como marido y mujer desde 1876. Desde el 2019, las parejas que deseen casarse en SMSS deben ponerse en contacto con la Rectoría llamando al 860-447-1431 para solicitar información sobre la disponibilidad de su fecha preferida y ponerse en contacto con nuestro párroco.
